The objectives of this
research were to: 1) study the level of business ethics of employees in Summit
Capital Leasing Company Limited, and 2) compare the ethics
of employees of Summit Capital Leasing Company Limited. Classified by personal
factors, the samples used in the study were 284 Summit Capital Leasing Company
Limited employeesthrough simple random sampling.The
instrument used in the research was a questionnaire. The statistics used for
data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test for hypothesis
testing and one-way analysis of variance and comparing the differences in pairs
by Least Significant Difference method (LSD). The results of this research
revealed that 1) the opinions of employees of Summit Capital Leasing Company
Limited on the level of business ethics of the employees in the overall level
were very high. When considering the first 3 aspects in descending order by the
mean, the highest mean was in the
aspect of good attitude towards the profession, followed by the ethical
reasoning and the achievement motivation respectively, and 2) the
comparison of business ethics ofemployees of Summit Capital Leasing Company
Limited showed that employees with different education level had different
level of business ethics, as for employees with different gender, age, status
and years of working experience had no difference in the level of business
ethics of the employees with statistical significance at .05 levels.
